Woody graduated from Miami University in 1976 with a Bachelors of Science in Business with a major in both accounting and finance and a minor in economics. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1983.
Woody started his career working as the controller for a large heating and air conditioning wholesaler from 1976 to 1981. He then received his CPA license while working for a regional CPA from 1981 to 1983. From 1983 to 1987 Woody was a partner in a software development and consulting firm. In 1987 Woody became the general manager of the building products division of a publicly traded conglomerate. And in 1988 Woody joined with Bob Stephens to form Fox & Stephens, CPA’s, Inc.
Woody received his securities license from the NASD in 1997.
Woody has served on many community boards and committees including the Board of Directors for the Upland Chamber of Commerce, the Upland Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the Chaffey College Foundation Board, Upland High School All-sport Foundation Board, the Upland Foothill Kiwanis Board, the Estate Planning Council of the Pomona Valley Board and the Mountain View Park Homeowners Association Board.
Woody’s specialties include personal and corporate taxation, homeowners associations, professional firms, investments and estate planning.
